I have received the best psychiatric care here. The intake appointment was long and thorough, which is rare in psychiatry. I felt like Az listened to me and was attentive to all parts of my life that affect my mental health. They are good at checking in and easy to get in touch with if anything is wrong with medication. This is the first time I have felt heard and fully cared about.
Everything was so collaborative with my own wants and choices that I could really feel sure about what medicine changes were being made and why. The scholarship I have received from Peacock Mental Health has been wonderful. Dr. Az is fantastic. I was recently diagnosed with bipolar and have experienced a tremendous amount of discrimination being bipolar and part of the LGBTQ+ community, despite my known contributions in the healthcare field. Dr. Az treats me like a partner in my care and makes me feel safe.

AMAZING!!!
At my former clinic I was passed around and around between doctors and they never seemed to know what was going on. I found Dr. Az and this is the care that I have been expecting my entire life! He truly listens, he considers what I am saying and asking, he asks more than the perfunctory questions, he lets me research and then give my thoughts on medication changes and so much more! I even had a tough day a bit ago and decided I needed to talk and possibly make some medication changes. He emailed/texted me back super quickly and spent the time with me that I needed.

HE evaluated ME and we together have developed a plan that so far has been spot on!
My greatest respect has been because Dr Az took the time to delve deep into my past. He just didn't accept me as a new patient and then follow the previous doctor's diagnosis, write me the same old prescriptions, and shove me out the door after 10 minutes! I will follow Dr. Az and his clinic for as long as I am able! After 30 some years of depression and anxiety, I have finally found the service that I had always expected from my previous practitioners, and never got!
